Ladies, if you could travel back in time, to younger you, what would you do differently?

First and foremost, if I travel back in time, I would hang out with my parents. I truly believe they were so awesome in their younger selves. On a serious note, I am sure all of us would want to change or do everything differently. However, I would not change or do anything in regards to my life. The only reason, is due to who I am today is based from me choosing to grow from mine or my parent's mistakes.
Since we are all living this life for the first time, what is the point of mistakes, trauma, pain and hard times if we do not get to learn from them? Whether they were ours or made by someone else and we were the observer. What good is a life if we do not have the chance to grow?
Hi, I am Alex, and if this is the first and only blog you ever read, I pray it reaches your heart and you find some healing within asking yourself the simple question; If I could go back in time, what would I do differently?
Personally, there are a list of things I would do differently. I would have remained a virgin. I would have never had a drink. I would have never let myself let time pass me by. I would have held on a moment longer in a hug. I would have laughed harder with my friends. I would have started my spiritual journey sooner. I would have developed a relationship with Papa at a younger age. But, lets be honest, we cannot go back. The past is in the past and memories are now only memories for a reason.
Often times we look at our past in either a negative or positive light. I blamed God for many pains from my past, only to learn he did not cause the pain and did not stop it. What does this mean? Although there is so much pain and suffering in the world, the Almighty God, on purpose and mercy, withholds his power so his children will LEARN, turn away from sin and use their free will to actively seek the Kingdom of God. Yes, God is a parent and how else will we learn from our mistakes if he comes in and always saves the day. A life without pain is inevitable. We cannot run from what is meant to mold us. Again, whether it was done by our choices or we were at the circumstance of another.
I know someone out there will say, "But what about..." Girl, all I can do is pray. The whole world is out of control, my personal control and needs Jesus. I cannot control the people outside of me, but I can tell them and you, Jesus loves you and he hears you!
Whatever happened to you, as a child, is not your fault, and can be forgiven. You deserve peace, real peace. I am so sorry you felt the need to pretend all the time. Sweetheart, I am so sorry no one would stop and listen to you. I am so sorry you had no safe adult. I am so sorry they hurt you in anyway. I am so sorry that even today your parents do not care. I am even more sorry at the fact you felt you had to believe them. You do not have to anymore.
Take a moment and travel back in time, use the gift of imagination the Lord gave you, and I want you to see your little girl. Where is she? How old is she? What is she feeling? Who else is around her? What is she actively doing? Now, I cannot hear or see you, but in a session, I would ask you to answer me and we would walk through what to do next. Here, I will just tell you, regardless of the situation, go hug her. She needs you. She wants you to see, hear, understand, care and love her exactly the way she is, exactly where she is.
Now you know Papa's heart.
We cannot change the past, we have made choices we have had to endure the consequences, good or bad, but you can heal what you did or did not break. Know I am so proud of you for even the thought of change and the thought to heal.
This is a short one today. Mistakes only hang over you if you have not forgiven yourself. A topic for another day. Take care of you. Jesus loves you! Talk to you soon.
